The Beethoven’s piano concert, naturally less performed than the original version for violin and orchestra, is undoubtedly of great interest, also for the original piano cadence of the Allegro ma non troppo that has revealed to the audience the versatility of the German composer. On the stage the soloist twenty-four years old Alexander Gadjiev and the Orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali conducted by Massimiliano Caldi. We found the performance provided by the orchestra under the baton of Maestro Caldi to be of aesthetic relevance. 

The second part saw the short Three pieces in old style by Górecki and then the Trittico Botticelliano by Respighi. Excellent calm and reflective interpretations of Maestro Caldi and I Pomeriggi. The value of the timbre in the aggregate, especially in the numerous strings, revealed the coloristic qualities of both composers who borrowed ancient and baroque music for a twentieth-century restitution of undoubted aesthetic quality. The mellowness of the pleasant dissonances of the Polish composer and those of the Italian composer of Vivaldian style have also convinced the large audience that has given important conclusive applauses. A concert that must be remembered.
